The car was built in the first week of May 1966 and sold new, May 13th 1966 at Marte Pontiac, Inc of Columbus, Ohio. The first owner fastidiuosly maintained the car at the local dealership and kept all of his receipts that accompany the car. The second owner also of Columbus, purchased the car in November of 1981, also dealer serviced the car at the local pontiac dealer and he too kept all his records which accompany the car. The current and 3rd owner purchased the car fully restored and sorted by the 2nd owner in its present condition. The collection this car comes from is astounding for its quality and rarity. Beautifully finished in Montero Red with black bucket seats and a black vinyl roof. The body is extremely straight and solid. No squeaks or rattles. This is one of the nicest GTO's in existence.
