1960 Porsche 356 B Roadster

In 1960, the Speedster name was replaced by the Roadster name. A 'B' was added to the end of 356 and the car received a few slight improvements. The chassis was improved, as was the body, and the braking system. The bodies were given higher bumpers, raised headlights, and vent windows. The brakes now had finned drum brakes. The standard engine was the 1582cc unit, which had received attention in an effort to improve upon its reliability.
This 1960 Porsche 356B 1600 Roadster is the product of a multi-year comprehensive rotisserie restoration by noted Marque experts. It is finished in the rare and highly desirable color of Stone Gray with a green leather interior, and a black canvas convertible top. Equipped with the very rare Les Leston Steering-wheel, equally rare horn button and European Headlights. This roadster features all of its original sheet-metal, its original floor-pans and even its original battery tray. It is a numbers matching example. There is a four-speed manual gearbox and four-wheel hydraulically actuated drum brakes.
There were only 2,192 356 B Roadsters produced over the entire model run.
